A frontal system will swing over the central British Columbia coast overnight.
This will result in southeast winds of 90 km/h developing near midnight for areas adjacent to Queen Charlotte Strait and diminishing by Saturday morning.
Exposed coastal areas not adjacent to Queen Charlotte Strait can expect southeast winds of 60-80 km/h.
Outflow winds through mainland inlets and valleys reaching 70 km/h are also expected.
High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
