Areas of the BC Coast can expect some very gusty conditions throughout the day Wednesday.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Haida Gwaii and the Central Coast.
It says strong winds of 80 to 100 kilometres per hour will develop sometime today ahead of an intense frontal system heading toward the BC Coast.
The wind is expected to gradually ease up Thursday in the wake of the system.
Damage to buildings, including shingles and windows may occur. Officials say loose objects may be picked up by the wind and could cause injury.
