Hold on to your hats.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the North Coast with strong outflow winds of 80 to 100 km/h near mainland valleys and inlets.
Forecasters say a deep low pressure system in the Gulf of Alaska combined with a strong ridge of high pressure over northeastern BC is producing very strong outflow winds through the valleys and inlets of the North Coast.
The winds are expected to die down Friday as the low weakens.
