Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for both the North and Central Coast regions.
Forecasters say an intense Pacific frontal system will bring wind of up to 90 km/h over the North Coast Thursday afternoon and moving southward to the Central Coast by the evening.
The wind is expected to ease early Friday morning.
Environment Canada says damage to buildings may occur and loose objects may be tossed by the wind.
