Haida Gwaii is in for more blustery weather according to Environment Canada.
Forecasters have issued a wind warning for the region as strong southeast wind with speeds of up to 100 kilometres per hour are expected Monday afternoon. The gusty weather will develop as an intense Pacific frontal system moves through the area.
The wind is expected to ease late Monday night as the front weakens and heads east
Haida Gwaii and the Central Coast regions were buffeted by high wind last week as well.
Environment Canada issues wind warnings when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
