Things could get very blustery across Haida Gwaii in the next couple of days.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning as a strong low pressure system approaches the islands from the west.
Forecasters expect southeasterly winds to increase from 60 to 80 kilometres per hour early Wednesday with peaks of 80 to 100 kilometres an hour by afternoon and evening.
Conditions are expected to taper off a bit Wednesday night but will remain windy through much of the day Thursday.
