Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Haida Gwaii, the North Coast, and Central Coast.
Officials say a strong Pacific front will come ashore Tuesday night, causing southeast winds of 90 km/h gusting to 110 km/h.
The wind is expected to pick up overnight and ease early Wednesday morning.
Environment Canada says the strong winds may cause damage and toss loose objects.
Forecasters have called off a rainfall warning for the Central Coast.
