North Coast communities can expect a blast of winter weather.
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for Terrace, Kitimat, and Stewart.
Forecasters say a strong Pacific frontal system will approach the region by Thursday afternoon, bringing heavy snow.
Environment Canada says 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected in the Terrace and Kitimat region through the night before it changes to freezing rain. Stewart could see up to 30 cm of snow by Friday.
