Witnesses sought in Terrace police incident

The Independent Investigations Office is looking for witnesses to the police incident at Terrace’s Mills Memorial Hospital.

The IIO says they’re asking anyone who witnessed the incident last Thursday to contact them.

Aidan Buckley is with the IIO, and he says they’re looking for one particular witness who may have recorded what happened.

The police watchdog says RCMP officers responded to calls of a distressed man armed with an axe at the hospital.

He was apprehended, but was seriously injured and subsequently died.

  1. Wow. What a shock. The RCMP are worse in Terrace BC then the USA. This is beginning to be something of a weekly trend. The brutal force they use is too excessive. KARMA

  2. 4 days have past and still no name, what are they thinking?
