WorkSafe BC is investigating the death of a local diver in Hecate Strait,
WorkSafe says it was notified Tuesday by RCMP about a serious incident involving a commercial diver south of Dewdney Island.
The BC Coroners Service says the incident involved Prince Rupert man in his 20s.
The Coroners office says it’s in the early stages of its fact-finding investigation.
RCMP are also conducting a probe.
