Work has now wrapped up on 5 of 13 helipads being installed on Haida Gwaii to help aid maintenance crews and technicians.
Construction crews from the Canadian Coast Guard began the work in mid-August, alongside repairs to a number of navigational aids.
Landing pads in Tasu Sound, Gowgaia Point, Davidson Point, Straie Island, and Kingui Island have now been completed.
