Coastal GasLink nearly completes hydrotesting in final stage of construction

Coastal GasLink has reached the 97 percent completion mark, with hydro testing nearly done.

Over the summer, section 2 of the pipeline had been fully installed, as well as all major water crossings being completed.

That final water crossing was completed in the Morice River using micro-tunneling.

Hydro testing of the pipeline is also now at 91 percent done, as the final stage of construction to ensure the pipe is ready to safely receive natural gas.
