The Prince Rupert Port Authority has announced its investment of $142,000 towards extensive upgrades to the Prince Rupert Centennial Golf Course.
With two separate contributions from the Port Authority the Golf Club was able to complete a pair of multi-faceted projects that totalled $255,000. Over the past few years a number of upgrades to the aging infrastructure have been made. Most of the infrastructure on the course was built more than five decades ago.
Two greens have been reconstructed and drainage has been added. The Club also added features to enhance the safety and longevity of the property around the links. As well as adding a new storage shed to protect maintenance equipment from rain and extend its lifespan.
