Update: The suspect was identified by the RCMP and has since been arrested and will be held for a bail hearing and consideration of charges.
Original Story: Yesterday at around 7:30 in the evening, Terrace RCMP got a report of a robbery that took place at a local liquor store on the 4600 block of Lakelse Ave.
According to the store’s staff, a man wearing a black Halloween mask with a skull on the front asked for a bottle before showing he had a knife on his waistband and eventually he pulled it out on the staff.
The suspect was able to make off with bottles of liquor before fleeing on foot, luckily no one was injured during the incident.
The male suspect has been described as having a slim build while being about 6 feet tall and wearing black jeans, a black shirt and black socks with no shoes at the time.
He also may have a tattoo on his right hand and was wearing a Skeleton Halloween mask and surveillance pictures can be found above and below.
