Prince George Conservation Officers are looking in to an incident which saw a bear in the city shot with an arrow.
The bear was discovered wandering a residential neighbourhood near Central Hart Estates on Friday morning.
Though bow hunting is not illegal in the city, police believe the injury could have angered the bear.
Due to the bear’s anger, officers determined it was a threat to the public and destroyed the animal.
Police are now searching for the responsible party, who could face charges for causing undo suffering to an animal.
