Investigators say the cause of the fire at Northcoast Anglers last week is still unclear.
Terrace Fire Department chief John Klie says investigators spent Thursday and Friday combing the area and couldn’t find any decisive answers.
He says the building that burnt last Thursday morning was heavily damaged, which blocked crews from going too far in the building.
He says items have been sent to a lab to see if they can shed more light on what caused the fire.
Chief Klie is also thanking residents as many people took the time to call in the fire.
An online fundraising page for the owners of the building say the insurance will help them rebuild, but it
won’t cover lost income. The insurance claim is expected to take a year to fully process.
The fire is not considered suspicious.
