As the Shovel Lake wildfire continues to burn, the College of New Caledonia has decided to close its Fort St. James campus.
CNC says it took the action to protect the safety and students and employees as an evacuation alert related to the wildfire continues and others have voluntarily left the area.
The campus will remain closed until further notice.
