The Salmon River Bridge north of Prince George will be closed for 8-hours on Saturday night for construction.
From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on November 19th, the bridge will be moved from its current location.
The bridge is 27 km north of Prince George Highway 97.
The province says a new bridge that will be able to handle the heavy loads required to service the resource sector in the north will be built.
The old bridge will serve as a detour during construction of the new bridge, which is scheduled to be completed next fall.
