A Dawson Creek school is under heat after parents discovered the local school did not disclose its knowledge of a high school “hit list”.
There are around 6 names of students targeted on this list.
One parent who found out their son is on the list said “we were told not to say anything”
Candance Clouthier is the assistant superintendent of School District 59 and she says the district moved as fast as possible when assessing a student list provided to the Dawson Creek secondary school principal earlier this year.
Additional safety measures were put in place immediately following the threat and further measures were taken after input from parents.
