Northern BC roads claimed four lives over the Easter long weekend according to RCMP reports.
Two 18 year-old males from Mackenzie died early Good Friday morning when their small car collided with a pickup truck on Highway 97 just north of Tudyah Lake Provincial Park.
Two people in the pickup were treated for serious but non life-threatening injuries.
A 47 year-old Smithers area man was killed Saturday afternoon when a vehicle crashed off Highway 16 in Moricetown.
RCMP investigators say the victim was a passenger in a Ford Mustang that left the highway and rolled down a steep embankment. Three other occupants in the vehicle were transported to hospital in Smithers with non life-threatening injuries.
A two-vehicle crash in the Bulkley Valley area Easter Monday killed one driver and left another motorist facing possible impaired driving charges.
No names have been released in any of the collisions.
