Terrace’s Heritage Park Museum is looking to change their constitution.
Curator Kelsey Wiebe says they’re looking to get rid of the city appointed directors on the board.
Weibe says they were turned down for a grant because the organization felt they were tied too closely to the local governments.
The museum believes the positions are redundant as they already report back to the city through different avenues.
The city voted in favour to support the constitution changes.
The constitution changes also include be able to email information to fellow members.
