The Kermode Friendship Society celebrated the beginning of construction on their new building.
The new 8,600 square foot building will house a 40 space day care as well as offices.
Cal Albright, executive director of the Kermode Friendship Society indicated the daycare will be culturally centered and the program will be delivered primarily by Aboriginal caregivers.
