Liberal and NDP leaders reelected in their ridings

BC New Democrat Leader John Horgan has been re-elected in the riding of Langford-Juan de Fuca.
Horgan was first elected to the riding in the Victoria suburbs in 2005. He has more than 50% of the vote with at least 11 of 82 polls reporting.

Meanwhile, Christy Clark has been re-elected in her riding of Kelowna-West.

The Liberal Leader was elected to the seat in a by-election in July of 2013, when it was known as Westside-Kelowna.

She failed to win the riding of Vancouver-Point Grey in that year’s general election.

Her Liberals are looking for a fifth straight majority government and are leading or elected in 44 ridings.

Forty-four seats is needed for a majority win.

Green Leader Andrew Weaver was also reelected in his riding of Oak Bay-Gordon Head.
