Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen is calling 2016 an eventful year.
In an interview with CFNR Network, Cullen went through some of the highlights of the year including Electoral Reform.
Cullen says he’s happy that town halls took place across the country to see what kind of voting system Canadians want.
He says it’s going to take a lot of pressure to ensure Electoral Reform is implemented.
Cullen also touched on the tug that went aground just west of Bella Bella in October.
He says it really paints a picture to why some pipelines were canceled.
Cullen touched on the announcement of a ban of crude oil tanker traffic along the North Coast. He says he’s interested to see what the bill will look like.
He also say there were a number of positive investments in the area as well, noting funds for the Smithers Airport and a new arena in Hazelton and how people are pushing a new Mills Memorial Hospital.
He says it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
