The BC Wildfire Service is dealing with another fire start.
The latest is a 125 hectare fire burning out of control approximately 25 kilometres southwest of Alexis Creek and 55 kilometres west of Williams Lake.
Airtankers and helicopters were on site Monday night along with 25 firefighters and heavy equipment.
While smoke may be visible from nearby areas, officials say the fire does not pose a threat to public safety or property.
The BC Wildfire Service is urging people to stay off the Graham-Raven Lake Forest Service Road, also known as the 1300 Road.
There were two wildfire starts in the Cariboo Fire Centre’s area of responsibility over the weekend.
