Nominations are now open for the 2018 Premier’s Award for Indigenous Youth Excellence in Sports.
The award is the result of a collaboration between the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity, and Recreation Council and the Province of BC.
All First Nations, Metis, and Inuit under the age of 25 are elligible for the award, which honours someone who exemplifies competition, leadership, commitment to a higher education, and community involvement.
Four male and four female nominees will be selected from each of I-SPARC’s six regions, with 12 athletes ultimately taking home the award.
