Northern Health says it’s experiencing patient pressures.
The health authority says that its Prince George hospital is seeing an increased number of patients due to seasonal conditions and Communications Officer Eryn Collins says it’s not the only one.
To try and reduce the pressure, Collins says Northern Health wants to remind residents about the appropriate use of Emergency Rooms.
Collins says some of the patient pressure is coming from seasonal illnesses such as influenza, but she says there are a lot of sick people currently being treated in hospital.
