As of noon today, all area restrictions relating to wildfire activity that had been in place in the Northwest Fire Centre will be lifted.
The restrictions had been in place in order to keep the public safe and away from wildfire control activities.
Residents heading in to backcountry areas are reminded that many hazards still persist due to the charred terrain, and that they should exercise extreme caution if travelling to areas affected by the flames.
