A power outage will be impacting customers in Iskut Thursday afternoon.
BC Hydro says equipment at the Bob Quinn substation has an alarm going off that requires immediate attention.
The outage is expected to last from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
They say a diesel generator will be operating to try and help as many customers as possible.
Rural customers north and south of the community will see their power out, along with the area that includes the fire hall, arena, health centre, Kluachon Subdivision and side streets.
It’s expected the problem will be fixed in the four hours, but B-C Hydro says updates will be provided if that changes.
