Prince Rupert R-C-M-P are reminding motorists about the consequences of drinking and driving.
Mounties says during October police had 28 impaired driving cases with 27 of those being related to alcohol.
Motorists received license suspensions for up to 90 days.
Police also say they had five impaired driving investigations alone on Sunday in a six hour period. All five of the drivers received at least a 3 day suspension.
They say it’s best to plan to have a designated driver, calling a cab, or use public transit.
The R-C-M-P are reminding you to not hesitate to report impaired drivers to them or Crime Stoppers.
