Prince George RCMP say it’s taking some drivers longer to shift into winter driving mode.
Mounties say they’ve been called to a number of crashes in the last few days that could’ve been avoided had drivers taken the proper precautions.
Police say those steps include leaving early, slowing down, and driving to the road and weather conditions.
Mounties say good winter tires, keeping your windows free of frost and snow, and using your headlights will also help drivers avoid crashes.
