Prince George RCMP are continuing to investigate what they consider a targeted shooting in that city last week.
Police say gunshots were exchanged between occupants of a residence in the 700 block of Freeman Street, and multiple suspects targeting the home last Friday evening.
Once police attended the scene, three people were detained from the house.
The residence was subsequently searched and police say they found illicit drugs, cash, and evidence of trafficking.
Corporal Craig Douglass says while the shooting is related to conflict in the city’s drug trade, it’s not a drug war.
While no people were hurt in this shooting, a neighbouring home was hit, narrowly missing the occupants.
One 25-year-old Prince George man remains in custody, facing multiple charges.
Police say the investigation is still in its early stages and asks the public for any information in regards to the shooting or conflict in the drug trade.
