So much for spring.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning from Terrace to Smithers and the Lakes region.
Forecasters expect an upper low pressure system off the BC coast to cause a moist easterly flow over the central interior.
A long period of snow for the Bulkley Valley-Lakes region could dump between 10 and 20 cm from Thursday morning and into the evening.
The snow is expected to taper off by Friday, but wind gusts of up to 70 km an hour may also cause blowing snow over higher terrain.
Forecasters have also issued a snowfall warning for Prince George with up to 15 cm of snow expected.
