The City of Terrace has released a sneak peak at the newly renovated aquatic centre, but it will be a while yet before it can be put to use.
The city had hoped the pool would be open by May, but the facility is on track for an opening in mid-July if all things go according to plan.
The $8 million project has been complex, with virtually every wall, public space, and mechanical system of the 45 year old facility renovated or replaced.
The city says the project is on budget, the last of construction is underway, and pool commissioning and mechanical testing will be next.
The facility has been shut down for renovations since March 19, 2017.
