A Terrace-bound WestJet flight is on the ground safe after making an emergency landing in Prince George.
WestJet’s Lauren Stewart says flight 3105 from Vancouver diverted to Prince George because of trouble with the landing gearing around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
She says they went to Prince George because there was better visibility for officials to ensure the plane was safe to land.
Stewart says the plane landed with no trouble.
Passengers will be flown back to Vancouver and then put on the next available flight to Terrace.
Stewart says 40 people were on board with four crew members and no one was injured.
The Prince George Airport Authority activated its emergency operations centre for the landing.
