Two people are in hospital after their vehicle went down an embankment in Quesnel.
Quesnel RCMP say it happen around 10:40 a.m. Tuesday on Quesnel-Hixon Road near the Cottonwood River bridge.
Police say the vehicle went off the road and down a 50 foot embankment.
The vehicle ended-up stuck on the other side of Cottonwood River.
Officers put on life jackets and then deployed rescue rope bags to reach the stranded men.
They were rescued several minutes later.
Both men suffered trauma from the crash but expected to make a full recovery.
Quesnel RCMP are urging drivers to be cautious and drive to the current road conditions.
