Quesnel RCMP have made an arrest after two police officers were bear-sprayed during a Friday night robbery.
Mounties arrested 23 year-old Aaron Stone Smart Saturday in connection with a robbery at Wal Mart the night before which saw two off-duty officers assaulted with bear spray.
Investigators are recommending charges of robbery and assaulting a peace officer with a weapon.
Smart remains in custody pending his next court appearance August 28, 2018 in Quesnel Provincial Court.
