Prince Rupert RCMP have arrested six people in connection with vandalism at Mariners Park.
Police say they were called about damage to the park playground Wednesday morning. Later that afternoon, RCMP were called about a group of youths spray painting the top of a vacant building on McBride Street.
Mounties arrested the six for mischief and found a large amount of stolen spray paint in possession.
Prince Rupert RCMP are contuining to investigate the vandalism at Mariners Park playground.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity near the playground between January 2nd and 3rd should contact the Prince Rupert RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
