North District RCMP confirms that one person has died as a result of a crash near Chetwynd Wednesday morning.
Corporal Madonna Saunderson says few details are available, but the collision along Highway 97 in the Sundance Lakes area involved a semi and a car.
Saunderson says the causal factors, description of the vehicles, and other injuries are not available.
Highway 97 near Chetwynd reopened to traffic shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
