There could be some delays along Highway 16 between Terrace and Prince Rupert Wednesday morning, but the route has reopened.
Crews shut down a stretch of the highway Tuesday night due to the high avalanche risk. Work to control the slide risk was conducted overnight and the highway reopened after 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The Ministry of Transportation says drivers may experience delay from debris clearing operations.
