Environment Canada has continued a number of snowfall warnings for Northern BC.
Forecasters say inland sections of the North and Central Coast along with Prince George and the Cariboo are all affected but the warnings.
A trough of low pressure moving through the central interior is cauing snow this morning which will evenutally ease late this afternoon as the weather system moves to the south.
Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are expected by tonight.
The transportation ministry has issued a travel advisory for a section of Highway 16 from Prince George east to Crescent Spur because of blowing snow and limited visibility.
Travelers are advised to use caution.
