With more hot weather predicted in the coming days, BC River Forecast Centre says this week will be critical for river levels on the Bulkley and its tributaries.
Centre head Dave Campbell says enough snow remains that the warm weather could push water higher and result in some flooding, but he says the region is nearly at a turning point.
Campbell says the Skeena River is in better shape because the snowpack is not nearly as high as other areas.
He says the Skeena will come up this week, but the centre is not concerned with any potential flood risk.
