A joint enforcement effort to crack down on irresponsible behaviour over the long weekend resulted in numerous arrests in Terrace and Kitimat.
The Kitimat and Terrace RCMP joined forces with Conservation Services over the long weekend with the expressed intent of eliminating disruptive behaviour to ensure everyone had fun.
Over 2 dozen liquor act violations, 6 Wildlife Act tickets, 13 Offroad Vehicle Act Tickets, and 3 Motor Vehicle Act tickets were issued as a result.
On top of the tickets, the weekend collaboration saw 7 residents arrested and 7 evictions.
