The City of Prince Rupert has chosen a local firm to replace the hot tub at the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre.
Council voted to award the contract to Rupert Wood ‘N Steel Construction Monday.
Councillor Wade Niesh says he understands that the public has concerns about the closure of the pool, but says it’s necessary.
The aquatic centre will be closed from July 1 to October.
