The BC First Nations Forestry Council is looking to move on to the next stage of development for their Forest Strategy following successful public workshops
Seven Regional Engagement Workshops had been held throughout the summer to seek input from the community on how to develop a strategy that accurately reflects the rights and priorities of Indigenous communities.
They will continue to gather input from First Nations leadership leading up to four one-day Provincial Forums in September.
Forums will be held in Prince George, Terrace, Kelowna, and Vancouver.
