The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako are maintaining a number of evacuation orders due to wildfires in the area.
A wildfire on the northeast portion of Nadina Lake has evacuation orders in place for the Nadina Lake Lodge, Nadina River Spawning Channel, and Nadina Lake Recreation Site.
The same wildfire has a much larger area facing an evacuation covering much of the northern portion of Electoral Area E.
Residents in the area around Tchentlo Lake and Purvis Lake are facing evacuation orders due to the Purvis Lake fire.
The Torkelsen Lake Wildfire has an area along the Babine Lake shoreline just south of TSAK 9 Lake Babine reserve lands under an evacuation order.
The Island Lake Wildfire has the Anzus Lake, Borel Lake, and Burner Recreation sites, as well as their immediate areas, under and evacuation order, and a larger area between Binta Lake and Francois Lake and the Holy Cross Binta FSR to the East under an evacuation alert.
Evacuation alerts are also in place for areas around the Silver Hilton Lodge along the Babine River, and between Keefes Landing Road, Eakin Settlement Road and Spud Lake Road.
The Shovel Lake Wildfire is also still prompting a large portion of Electoral Areas B, C, and D to be under an alert.

Those in evacuation order areas are asked to immediately vacate the area, while those in alert areas are asked to prepare for an evacuation order in case one is issued.
