Traffic is snarled on Highway 16 about 10 km east of Terrace for a collision.
Witnesses say the road was shut down at approximately 7 p.m. as police and emergency crews responded to a crash.
At least one vehicle is involved and may have struck a rock face.
Injuries are unknown at this point, but the ambulance was seen leaving the area toward Terrace.
