A group advocating French as a second language says French immersion enrolment in the Bulkley Valley remains high and stable.
Canadian Parents for French says as of the 2017-2018 year, 186 School District 54 students registered in the program, or 9.4% of the entire student body.
The organization says the growing popularity and climbing enrolment BC-wide has left many district scrambling to find enough qualified teachers and assistants.
