Terrace RCMP thwarted an attempted drunken break and enter last weekend.
Police responded to the 4400 block of Park Avenue to find a highly intoxicated man attempting to jostle the door knob of a home.
After catching the break-in attempt in progress, officers located a second, equally intoxicated, individual nearby.
Both were arrested and lodged in cells to sober up.
