A Southside family that helped so many during this year’s wildfire season is now in need of assistance.
The Grassy Plains Store burned to the ground Wednesday morning, destroying the business.
The store, owned by Gary and Fayth Martin, was a hub for families impacted by the devastating Southside Summer wildfires.
The Martins opened their doors to the community, providing food and drink to residents fleeing the flames.
Fundraisers have been started for the Grassy Plains Store as well as a family living in the building who lost everything.
